We are looking for someone who is early in their career to join our inspiring, hardworking and passionate team. This person will work with our team to deliver Creative Hub. These playful, creative after-school sessions often include visiting artists and companies, as well as ongoing offers related to digital art, gaming, art and design. This person will enjoy supporting young people to use their imaginations and explore a variety of creative practices.

What will I be doing?
This role will also be a key part of the Soundwave after school delivery team. This is a lively session, covering everything from Garageband, logic, found sounds, podcasts, Sonic Pi and more. The person in this role will be confident in leading music activities and if you play an instrument or two, that’s great too! We have an on-site music studio so experience of the relevant technologies within the studio is essential. Creative Hub sessions are on Mondays in term time. These will be 2.5 hours, inclusive of preparation, delivery and evaluation. Times: 4-6:30 pm Soundwave afterschool sessions are on Wednesday evenings in term time. These will be 4 hours, inclusive of preparation, delivery and evaluation. Times 4-8 pm Details Title: Sessional Youth Associate (Creative Hub and Soundwave after-school) Hours: A minimum of 3 hours per week in term time (additional hours may be available in holiday periods.) Specific hours for each distinct role confirmed at contract stage. Fee: £17 per hour (This is a freelance role, you would be responsible for paying your own tax and National Insurance.) Who is this opportunity suitable for?
Open to anyone aged 18-25. We want to increase the number of young women engaging in our Soundwave programmes, as women are underrepresented in the music industry, so we are particularly interested in applications from women, to support this.
