GET STARTED WITH COOKING

Location : This course will take place at Co-Exist Community Kitchen in Easton /BS5 6JF
Introduction:
This free one-week programme with Co-Exist Community Kitchen gives young people an opportunity to learn independent cooking skills, food preparation techniques and meet local suppliers and food producers. This course focuses on teamwork, confidence and communication skills, as by the end of the week, young people will create a celebration feast based on the skills learnt throughout the week. Lunch is provided throughout (cooked by them!) and travel is reimbursed.

What will I be doing?
ON THIS COURSE YOU’LL:
• Learn different cooking and food preparation
techniques.
• Visit local food producers and suppliers.
• Have access to a range of follow up
opportunities within the sector.
• Receive up to six 1-1 support sessions post programme to help you achieve your goals.
