About the organisation

Who we are

FareShare is uniquely positioned to make a difference as the UK’s largest food redistribution charity. FareShare redistributed 128m worth of meals in the past year– equivalent to 4 meals every second. The need for Fareshare has never been greater. One in five people are experiencing food poverty in the UK. Meanwhile, 7 billion meals worth of good-to-eat food go to waste in the UK’s food supply chain annually. Through the Coronation Food Project, FareShare will be working with the food industry to access more food to help strengthen communities across the UK and help build a more equitable future.
