FareChance Employability Programme
This programme offers hands-on work experience within a working food warehouse, designed to empower young people to become more employable and confident.
Limited to 10 participants — referrals will be considered on a first-come, first-reviewed basis

This FREE one-week programme gives young people a chance to explore their artistic style through a wide range of techniques as well as have an opportunity to work with like-minded creative individuals. They will learn about pathways into creative careers and build confidence with their next steps.

Project Pilot
Project Pilot is a Supported Internship in Bristol run by Sixteen Co-operative Ltd and Bristol City Council that aims to support young people aged 18-24 with learning disabilities or autism, who do not have an EHCP, into paid work.
The 15-month programme will start in September 2026 and comprise of:
• Formal education with a blend of base-room and supported work-place learning
• Up to three supported work placements
• Support to find and apply for jobs
• In-work support to both employee and employer

Gain retail work experience with M&S, building their confidence and employability skills. At the end of the programme, young people will potentially gain employment with M&S.

Learn about the roles available with the South West Ambulance Service and complete an employability workshops designed to help them with the assessment centre.

Get Started in Music
This FREE one-week programme in collaboration with Creative Youth Network offers young people the chance to explore their creativity, gain music production & lyric writing skills and work as a team to creatively collaborate on an original piece. Young people will build confidence through performance and presentation skills. Following the programme, young people will receive up to six 1-1 sessions with the course lead. This programme is suitable for those seeking to build their confidence, work with like-minded creative individuals and build their soft skills in teamworking and communication.

This FREE one-week programme gives young people the opportunity to gain practical dance skills in a range of styles including Latin, Jazz and Vogue.

This four-week work experience programme with M&S gives young people the opportunity to learn hands-on retail experience with the potential for live vacancy following the end of the course.

Step Together Volunteering
Step Together Volunteering provide intensive one-to-one support combined with community volunteering to improve confidence, skills, and connections for young people in Bristol. We also run an allotment twice a week in South Bristol, where young people can take part in activities such as growing food, cooking produce, building, and painting - in nature. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to feel valued, connected and capable of making a positive contribution to their community.
