Recruiting Now! New Supported Internships programme in Bristol!

WE Work is pleased to be working on a new Supported Internships programme in partnership with Bristol City Council, Sixteen Cooperative and NDTi.
Project Pilot is for young people between 18 and 24 years of age who do not have an EHCP. The programme focuses on skills development in the workplace via work placements and a real chance at getting a paid job. Project Pilot will start in Spring/Summer 2024 and is recruiting now!
Project Pilot includes:
- 9 months formal education and 3 x supported work placements (one day a week of classroom-based activities and four days a week on placement)
- 3 months job development
- Followed by 3-6 months of in-work support
Project Pilot is looking for 10 participants who:
- Are aged 18-24
- Do not have an Educational Health Care Plan
- Are or have been NEET/Risk of NEET – SEMH or leaving Alternative Provision
- Have SEND and complex support requirements
- Have not participated on previous internship or traineeship
- Are keen to find paid work and have basic understanding of what work is / previous experience of work or work experience
- Living in Bristol with ability to travel and willing to learn new routes
- Willingness to attend base-room activity
- Have right to work in UK
