What will I be doing?
Learning objectives include:
• Find out how different devices (like phones, tablets, and computers) work and choose the one you like best.
• Learn how to change settings on your device to make it easier to use (for example, making text bigger or using voice controls).
• Try out different Internet browsers and see which one works best for you.
• Set up an email account (if you don’t have one) and practise sending and receiving emails.
• Learn how to stay safe when using the Internet and protect your personal information.
• Explore how to shop online safely and understand how payments work.
• Look at different social media platforms and learn how people use them to stay in touch.
Who is this opportunity suitable for?
This course is aimed at Bristol residents aged 19 and over who would like to improve their digital skills and learners advised to improve their Digital skills to assist their job search and/or include skills required for work.
