Multiply- free numeracy and Maths courses for September

These courses are all open and free to any adults aged 19+ who do not hold a Functional Skills level 2 in Maths or a GCSE grade 4/C.

What will I be doing?

North Bristol
• Functional Skills course to gain a qualification (Entry Level 3-Level 2) Mondays 9.30-12 Long Cross Children’s Centre starting 9th September.
• Baking with Numbers- bake delicious treats and boost numeracy skills and confidence at the same time (all levels) Ambition Lawrence Weston, Long Cross Wednesdays 10am-1pm starting 18th September.
East Bristol
• Functional Skills course to gain a qualification (Entry Level 3-Level 2) Mondays 9.30-12 Hillfields Library starting 9th September.
• Functional Skills course to gain a qualification (Entry Level 3-Level 2) Wednesdays 1pm-3.30 The Beacon Centre (City Academy) starting 9th September.
Central Bristol
• First Steps to Functional Skills- build confidence in maths with possibility to progress to Functional Skills course (pre-entry- entry level 3) The Launchpad, The Galleries, Wednesdays 9.30-12 starting 11th September.
• Managing Your Own Money- Budgeting skills. Salvation Army Citadel, St Pauls, Tuesdays 10am-1pm starting 10th September.
Online/ blended learning
• Functional Skills course to gain a qualification (Entry Level 3-Level 2) on Zoom with occasional face to face in central Bristol, Wednesdays 4.30pm-7pm.

Who is this opportunity suitable for?

Any adults aged 19+ who do not hold a Functional Skills level 2 in Maths or a GCSE grade 4/C.

Bristol Community Learning is part of Bristol City Council’s Employment, Skills and learning team. We set up a wide range of courses in community venues across Bristol. All our courses are aimed at adults with few or no qualifications and unemployed adults looking for work.
