Neurodiversity Celebration Week 16th – 20th March 2026
February 26, 2026
Neurodiversity Celebration Week is coming soon! It will take place from 16–20 March 2026
Find out more here: Neurodiversity Week
Neurodiversity Celebration Week (NCW) started in 2018. It was created by Siena Castellon, who began the project when she was a teenager. She wanted people to stop focusing on the difficulties neurodivergent people can face, and instead recognise their skills, talents, and strengths. Today, NCW is celebrated all over the world. Many schools, colleges, workplaces, and community groups take part.
Neurodiversity Celebration Week aims to:
- Challenge unhelpful ideas and myths about neurodivergent people.
- Encourage kindness, understanding, and good support in education and at work.
- Show the strengths of people who are autistic, dyslexic, dyspraxic, have ADHD, or think and learn differently in other ways.
- Share free resources to help teachers and organisations support neurodivergent people better
During the week, you might see:
- Talks, webinars, and Q&A sessions
- Campaigns that help people learn about and celebrate neurodiversity
- Activities in schools and workplaces to raise awareness
- Stories and discussions about lived experience
- Community events run by groups, organisations, and volunteers
