Supporting Creative Potential: N’s Journey into 3D Design

April 13, 2026

N was finding it hard to get a job or training. A family member gave him a WE Work for Everyone flyer. After he joined the programme, N started working with his navigator. Together, they looked at his CV and found where it could be improved. They also made a plan for N to gain more work experience and explored different job roles. N says that his navigator: “helped to identify the work I wanted to do.”

After this, N joined The Pilot Project. This is a supported internship for people with learning differences who do not have an EHCP.

N did very well on the internship. His creative skills matched the work of an education studio called Boomsatsuma who had a placement available in 3D design. N quickly secured an interview and was successful. He gained a place and began his education and training straight away.

Boomsatsuma is an independent education provider based in Bristol and the South West. They provide training for creative industries. This includes television and filmmaking, photography, game design, digital media, and sports media.

The team at Boomsatsuma reflect on N’s progress so far:

“N is very talented and in the short time with us so far he has quickly proved his capabilities as a 3D artist. Producing high quality work within a week of starting. I’ve already spoken with members of the team about offering N some freelance work following the end of his traineeship in July”.

N feels very excited about his future work possibilities. He shares:

“I appreciate the help from WWFE and looking forward to what I can achieve next using my current and new taught skills.”
