Making Inclusion Real: A LUSH and SeeAbility Partnership

SeeAbility is one of WE Work’s specialist employability providers. They have built a great working relationship with LUSH.
Senior Supported Employment Coach, Rhian Airey, contacted LUSH because of their strong values and commitment to inclusion. The store manager, Besco, was very supportive and agreed straight away.
Besco worked with SeeAbility to create a new job role for people being supported by SeeAbility.
Besco says:
“It was a beautiful way of supporting LUSH’s belief that everyone is always welcome… This should apply not only to our customers, but also to our staff.”
The job role is a 3‑month Stockroom Assistant position. It is a paid internship for people who have not worked before. This role helps people to learn new skills, build confidence and gain a great reference.
This is a fantastic example of an employer creating a workplace that is supportive and inclusive for everyone.
